本書簡介
In a beautiful mountain stream, many creatures lived in harmony, including the protagonist, Little Fish. One day, Little Fish's friends argued over what game to play, leading to a fallout where they ignored each other. Kwun Yum, saddened by the creatures' anger, decided to return to her home at the mountaintop. As she left, the sunlight faded, the stream dried up, and the creatures fell ill one by one.
Determined to save his companions, Little Fish resolved to climb the mountain and seek Kwun Yum’s help. However, no matter how hard he tried to leap upward, he kept falling back into the stream. Will Little Fish finally meet Kwun Yum? Can he rescue his friends? What fate awaits him?
Praise for Little Fish:
"Little Fish is a fabulous story, it is a story of an imaginative journey, a pilgrimage and a tale of transformation, told with love and passion. Andrew McAulay presents a poetic narrative in which Nature and supra Nature dance together. Little Fish is a great gift to children as well as to adults. Every word is inspiring, heartwarming and entertaining at the same time. It will make a beautiful birthday present for every child. Andrew is a poet of the soul. The illustrations by Lucy Hinton are equally magical."

"McAulay has written a powerful story. Children will be fascinated by Little Fish and want to explore streams…… And there is a clear conservation message: to save the natural world we must be persistent and never give up. Much of the pure magic of this book is provided by Hinton's enchanting illustrations."
